Clark Centre for Peace Research & Action holds panel talk

CCPRA organised a panel talk on the theme ‘Clean Election for Peace and Transformation’ at Multi-Purpose Hall, CTC on February 17.

Mokokchung, March 1 (MExN): Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) organised a panel talk on the theme ‘Clean Election for Peace and Transformation’ at Multi-Purpose Hall, CTC on February 17. 

The panellist delivered on the following topics: Various Concerns of Clean Election-Rev Dr Noklen Longkumer, Pastor, Ungma Baptist Church, Free and Fair Election-Dr. Lanurenla, Associate Professor, Fazl Ali College, Clean Election and Role of Theological Community-Dr Toshi Aier, Associate Professor, CTC, Clean Election, Youth and Women-Imtiwala Imchen, Doctoral Scholar and Choosing the Right Candidate-Leishom L. Phom, Master of Theology.

Along with the community of Clark Theological College, youth members from Mokokchung Town Baptist Church and students from Jubilee Memorial College and Institute of Communication and Information Technology (ICIT) attended the programme, stated a press release received here. 

The programme was led by Dr Tinumeren, Assistant Professor CTC. Dr Tsuknungrenla said the invocation, a song was presented by Meribeni and friends, and a special prayer for peace and Clean Election was prayed by Rev Dr A Tali Ao, Academic Dean, CTC.

The panel talk and interaction sessions were moderated by Dr Tiameren, during which the elector’s pledge was also affirmed by the community. Moasenla, Program Coordinator CCPRA, proposed the vote of thanks and the programme was concluded with a prayer by Dr Boholi Z. Sema.
