‘Cleanliness drive should be on continuous process’

Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): In a hectic preparation to welcome the delegates for the forthcoming coming 25th NSF general session to be held at Agri expo site, 4th mile, Dimapur from April 24 to 27, citizens of Dimapur conducted a mass cleanliness drive on April 20. Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) is hosting the four-day events. 

Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, N. Hushili Sema IAS, who supervised the mass social work, said that cleanliness drive should be on continuous process to keep the city clean and for healthy environment. Meanwhile, DC has thanked the various departments, students from different schools, Diphupar ‘A’ and ‘B’ and colonies for their active participation. Hushili also thanked the Gorkha Union Dimapur for providing the refreshment.

In spite of bad weather condition in the early hour, large number of volunteers turned out for the drive.
