CM extends condolences

Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): Chief Minister of Nagaland, TR Zeliang has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Dr. David Sema, who was serving as Registrar of Nagaland State Veterinary Council and Addl. Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department, at Zion Hospital in Dimapur following a cardiac arrest.  

In a condolence message, the CM said Dr. David joined the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services in 1984 and served in different capacities both in the district and the directorate levels. A down to earth, humble and a straight forward person, Dr. David Sema also served as President, Nagaland Veterinary Association (NVA) and CANSSEA, he added.  

“A gentleman to the core, the outstanding leadership qualities displayed by Late Dr. David Sema during his tenure as the President of CANSSEA will be long remembered,” the message read.  

Stating that his demise is a great loss to the Sumis in particular and the Nagas in general, the CM along with his wife and family members extended condolences and prayed to God to grant solace to the bereaved family members.
