Peren, November 6 (MExN): Chief Medical Office, Peren District under the chairmanship of Dr Supongmenla, Dy CMO held it’s District Review Meeting on November 5 at Conference Hall, Chief Medical Office, District Headquarter, New Peren.
CMO, in a release stated that Dr Nukshisangla Jamir, DPO RCH/UIP while addressing the gathering, acknowledged all the health workers and officials involved in the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign (MRVC) for their relentless efforts in carrying out the task reaching out to far and hard to reach areas.
The DPO also highlighted that intensive positive awareness is very important and the District still needs to reach out and make sure that no child is missed in the vaccination campaign.
She highlighted that the latest target for Peren is 19536 out of which 16077 has been vaccinated which is 82.3% coverage.
She stated that revise session and repeat activities will be conducted for MRVC.
Dr Nukshisangla urged to use the VHND platform to catch hold of the missed out children.
Melenguno, Block Program Manager Peren gave a power point presentation on the performance under Peren block. The presentation indicated various aspects of activities as well the targets and achievements under RCH, UIP and other vertical programs.
Attending the meeting, Dr Ushma, RRT WHO for Peren suggested meticulous planning to be implemented to complete the 95% coverage.
