DIMAPUR, JULY 23 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has expressed concern over the events that have unfolded in Manipur over the last couple of months resulting in loss of lives, properties destroyed and thousands of people displaced, many of which have sought refuge in Nagaland.
While empathizing with the displaced people, the CNSA in a press statement, however, expressed concern on the reports about displaced people allegedly seeking change in address in their Aadhar particularly in Medziphema under Chümoukedima district. It maintained that this will have serious ramifications in the future if not addressed timely. Towards this, the CNSA applauded the state government for its prompt action and have requested the concerned district administration to strictly oversee and enforce it.
The CNSA meanwhile extended solidarity with the people of Manipur at this hour of grave crisis and appealed for peace and harmony.
