A multi-purpose hall of the Government High School, Japan Riba was inaugurated by Razouseyi Vese, Director School Education Nagaland as the special guest on April 15. This multi-purpose hall was funded and constructed by five village communities, alumni and well wishers.
Speaking on the occasion, Vese appreciated the five village communities including Chozuba, Runguzu, Runguzu Nasa, Khusomi & Chozu Basa for coming forward for funding and construction of multi-purpose hall for the students of GHS Japan Riba, Chozuba.
Vese also encouraged the community leaders and parents to make the best use of the facilities provided by the Government like mid day meal, free textbook, and free uniform etc.
He shared that government schools teachers are all trained and qualified in their profession.
The Director told the gathering that the root of education is bitter yet the fruit is sweet. He challenged the community to continue their support for development of school and that the department shall also give their best.
The director was accompanied by Ruyosuyi Khusoh, Joint Director, Vizolie Chucha, Joint Director, Khreikethozo Nodal Officer MDM and Elo State Coordinator MDM. Vekhozo, Assistant Head Master GHS Japan Riba chaired the function while welcome address was delivered by Thupuveyi Shijoh. Rev Vesavo Shijoh, Convenor construction committee gave brief report and expressed special appreciation to all well-wishers including Kudecho Khamo, Advisor CAWD & Taxes Nagaland for generous contribution toward the construction. Vote of thanks was proposed by Rusangoyi Medeo, VDB Secretary Khusomi Village.
