Computer Aided Learning in all govt middle schools

Kohima, March 20 (MExN): The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Nagaland has been implementing the Computer Aided Learning (CAL) programme since 2004-05 in Nagaland and is planning to cover all Government Middle Schools in phase manner. Till date, CAL programme is being implemented in 618 schools out of 913 GMS benefiting 39, 508 students. Substantiating the good achievement made in CAL programme, Government Middle School, L. Khel, Kohima village was chosen for receiving the Computer Literacy Excellence Award for Schools 2004. The following year, GMS Rusoma also received the Computer Literacy Excellence Award for Schools 2005. Each award carried a cash prize of Rs, 1.50 lakh along with citation.
