Kohima, August 26 (MExN): Music Club, Don Bosco College, Kohima organized its 1st musical concert under the theme “Con Brio” on August 24 at DBHSS Auditorium.
Er Medozhazo Rutsa, President, Catholic Youth Association (CYA), Christ King Church, Kohima Village graced the occasion as special invitee.
During his address, Rutsa spoke on the positive and negative impacts of music on youngsters. Recalling his days at Don Bosco School in the 90s, he said that rock fest was held twice in the school further adding that the institution, since then, had profound attachment and love for music.
He also stated that music and sports were the Salesian way of bringing out figures and renowned artists at higher levels. He concluded his message quoting St John Bosco, “run, jump, shout but do not sin.”
Earlier, Fr. Innocent, Vice-Principal DBHSS invoked God’s blessings and Fr Dr P Suresh, Principal, DBCK pronounced the welcome address.
The event saw performances from Radio Jam (DBCK College Band), Kohima Taekwondo group, college choir and college dance club.
Artists like Peteruokuo Kuotsu, Vidisenuo Belho, Zhavi Whuorie, Hinenlo Kath, Dr. AoSunep, Keneisenuo and Tutu Terhiija also performed at the concert.
