Conducting exams now is not conducive: NSUI

DIMAPUR, JUNE 10 (MExN): The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Nagaland unit, while appreciating Nagaland University’s decision to promote even semester students, has pointed out that several colleges have been turned in to Quarantine Centres.

“Conducting exams in such environment is not conducive and risks the lives of not only the students but also thousands of teachers and non-teaching staffs. It is our sincere request to the universities in Nagaland to take into consideration the plight of the 6th semester students and work out a mechanism without conducting exams,” a press release from the union appealed.

It further asked other universities in Nagaland to follow suit as “students are the future of this country and their future cannot and should not be compromised at any cost.”
