Nagaland Congress hails appointment

Dr Ajoy Kumar has been appointed as the All India Congress Committee In-charge of the Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura on August 18 with “immediate effect.”
The Congress President has appointed Dr Kumar as “the AICC In-charge of the Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura with immediate effect,” state a press release from AICC General Secretary (Organisation), KC Venugopal.
Dr Kumar, a former Member Of Parliament Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency and the ex-Jharkhand Congress is presently a National Spokesperson of Indian National Congress.
He replaced Kuljit Singh Nagra, who was appointed last September.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Congress has welcomed Dr Kumar’s appointment as the new State’s AICC In-Charge.
