Congress rule days numbered: TM Lotha

DIMAPUR, NOV 26 (MExN): Expressing happiness at the unprecedented landslide victory of the NDA alliance in the Bihar General Elections which saw the dethroning of Laloo Prasad Yadav, Dr TM Lotha, Minister of Health & Family Welfare described the development as “people’s revolt against misrule” which clearly proved that the Congress-led UPA government days are numbered. 

Dr TM Lotha in a congratulatory message extended his congratulations to the leaders of the JD (U) and the BJP as well as electorate of Bihar state for giving a ‘historic’ mandate to the NDA and ushering in a change choosing overall development in the state in  lieu  of ‘misrule’ and ‘suffering’. He stated that the peoples’ rejection of the Laloo-Rabri misrule in Bihar also indicated the regarding of the Congress-led UPA Centre. “This clearly shows the days of the Congress-led UPA that is working in tandem with Lalu-Rabri raj, are numbered” he stated. 

He further congratulated, on behalf of the Nagaland BJP, the new Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and expressed confidence that under his able leadership “a sense of security will steadily prevail in the mind of the masses and improvement of law and order will return to the land”. Dr TM Lotha also expressed hope that the new team under Nitish Kumar would be able to deliver the goods to the masses “who have been suffering in the hand of the Lalu-Rabri raj in the state for fifteen years”.
