We on behalf of the Phom People’s Council wish to heartily thank PWD (R&B) Department for your concerned and efficient labor to repair the Longleng- Changtongya Dikhu Bridge timely which got damaged in mid- November 2005 and keeping inconvenience of ordinary people away.
We also request the department to kindly give the nod for the construction of a new bridge before the rainy season starts so as to avoid further damage to the already ageing bridge, and tragedy adding to the people of this remote region.
Basing on the above cited on the above stated fact, if your higher authority can allot sufficient fund for construction of new bridge as early as possible we shall be ever grateful.
