Newmai News Network Imphal | April 13 "An emergency public consultative meeting" of Zeme, Liangmai and Rongmei people will be held on April 16, 2018 at Tamenglong headquarters, according to a circular. The meeting is being jointly organized by Zeme Naga Council, Liangmai Naga Council and Rongmei Naga Council to welcome and accept the "Tatar Hoho decision of March 23, 2018 wherein the three tribes were duly listed as distinct Naga tribes," the circular said. Frontal organisations, student organisations, women organisations, public leaders, village chiefs/chairmen, intellectuals etc. of all the three tribes have been invited to be part of the “historic event” and contribute ideas on how to “move forward as kindred tribes.”
