
Dimapur, January 5 (MExN): The Consumer Society Dimapur District (CSDD) has informed all retailers, commodity manufacturers to display MRP notice board. Date of manufacture, expiry and the name of unit, goods, products etc should be clearly printed for convenient of all the consumers.
The CSDD, general secretary, Khekivi Z. Wotsa in a press release informed that all the dealer, shopkeepers like motor parts, medicines, electronic goods etc are to maintain original cash memo with VAT number prescribe under Nagaland VAT Act. Further, it is mandatory for all hotel and restaurant to display menu board and sign board and water filter pot compulsorily. Uncovered food items, stale foods and self styled rate fixations are strictly prohibited. Medical fitness certificate of employees and workers in all the above mentioned shops and business establishments are compulsory.
It also appeals to all the business community and general public of Dimapur district in particular and Nagaland in general not to entertain any donation or financial assistance in the name of Consumer Society Dimapur District.
