Peren, July 29 (MExN): Containment areas in Jalukie and Tening towns under Peren district were lifted on July 29 following an order from the Peren Deputy Commissioner. According to a DIPR report, the containment areas in Dobashi Colony (Ward 1) Jalukie Town, Ward 5 Tening Town and Mhaikam Village were lifted after recommendation from the Chief Medical Officer, Peren was received. In addition, the DC also directed the Sub-Divisional Task Force to ensure that the contained zones are opened up immediately with the initiation of intensive Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities with regard to COVID-19 within their respective jurisdiction, the report stated.
