Jakhama, October 5 (MExN): Inter-departmental convergence meeting was conducted to address the Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI), MR elimination drive and routine immunization at SDO (C) office Hall, Jakhama on October 5.
The meeting was chaired by SDO (civil) Jakhama, Nockpai Konyak, stated a DIPR report.
During the meeting, he deliberated the emergence and importance of Child Immunization. He urged each department to educate the importance of immunization and to convey the message of vaccinations to all the community as they play a vital role in sensitizing.
SMO Viswema, Dr T Adi Belho, CHC Viswema highlighted the importance of vaccination and the ongoing immunization present and its benefit. He further discussed the impact of the organization and the improvement in child immunization and requested all the departments and organization to go hand in hand.
District Coordinator Kehile highlighted the ISRN in partnership with the state government currently executing the MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity (M-Rite) Program Supported by the USAID.
