
Sovima, November 6 (MExN): Gujarat posted an imposing total of 382 runs for the loss of just 4 wickets on the first day of the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy, India’s national four-day cricket tournament for under-19 players, at Sovima Cricket Ground, Sovima. A total of 89 overs were played on Day 1.
At stumps on Day 1, Luv Padhiyar was unbeaten on 118 off 181 balls, while Rudra Mayur Patel contributed a solid 116 off 165 balls.
Nagaland’s Sundram Kumar took 3 wickets for 124 runs. On Day 2, Nagaland will seek early breakthroughs, while Gujarat will aim to sustain their strong momentum.
