Cooch Behar Trophy U19: Tripura bowled out for 264, J&K 110 for 4 at stumps

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): Tripura managed to post a total of 264 runs (all-out) on Monday resuming from the overnight score of 130 for 2. Day 2 of the Group D game between Tripura and Jammu & Kashmir at the Nagaland Cricket Association Stadium, Sovima witnessed as many as 12 wickets falling.   Opener AN Datta could not add to his overnight score of 52 getting clean bowled in the first session of the day’s play. His 83-ball stand included seven 4s. Debbarma was the next to go following a 54-ball 12 before Riaz Uddain steadied the innings. It was however two quick wickets before Uddain found support at the other end stitching two valuable partnerships with Rohit Singh and Chandan Ray.   Uddain finally fell at 68 with the score at 218. Ray was unbeaten at 29 when tailender SS Hossain was clean bowled. The final score read 264 (all-out) in 75.5 overs.   The J&K second innings saw 4 wickets falling that included a duck for Sahil Lotra. Captain and opener Qamran Iqpal was standing guard at 76 and Kanhaiya Wadhawan was at 7 when play wrapped up for the day. The score read 110 for 4.   The third day’s play will start at 8:45 am.
