Cooperate with PM package-implementing agencies, LSU told

Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): The Nyrio Range Students Union and its federating units has appealed to the Lotha Students Union (LSU) to cooperate with the implementing agencies of the PM’s package asserting that if works are being stopped it is an injustice.

In a statement, the union was of the view that stopping of developmental initiatives without any rhyme or reason tantamount to injustice. However, the union expressed hope that the ongoing impasse in regard to the PM’s package would be solved amicably.

The NRSU also appreciated the developmental activities undertaken by the DAN government, especially at Wokha district and acknowledged the contribution made by the elected representatives of the district, Dr TM Lotha in particular.

The unions also termed ‘laudable’ the coverage given to the long-neglected roads, in the PM’s package, and in this regard the union acknowledged the initiative of the government.

While assuring the implementing agencies full cooperation and assistance for the successful implementation of the project, it also appealed to the Lotha Students Union to cooperate with the implementing agency for the smooth and successful execution of the project.

The union was of the view that it would be injustice if the developmental activities in the area are stopped without any rhyme or reason.
