DIMAPUR, AUGUST 22 (MExN): Cornerstone College Dimapur conducted its 7th freshers day on August 19 at the college auditorium.
The commencement of the event started with the arrival of the chief guest Nukshimatong, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Dimapur. The formal session was hosted by Chumthunglo T Jami, Assistant Professor, Department of History.
Principal of the College Imsuinla Imti delivered her welcome address and imparted encouraging words to the students. Eren Mozhui of 1st semester gave thanks on behalf of the fresher’s to the college for holding the day for them.
Chief Guest, Nukshimatong encouraged the students to have a goal in life, make rightful use of the technology provided to them, be responsible citizens and to always put God first in every step they take.
The informal session involved the fresher along with their seniors showcasing their talents, presenting songs and dances. An alumni of the college and Mr Freshers 2016, Yeka Awomi encouraged the student and shared his journey and experiences. Eren Mozhui and Arati Thapa were crowned as Mr and Miss Freshers 2022 of Cornerstone College Dimapur.
