Cosmos Zenith Festival Project 4.0 held at Pfutsero

The Cosmos Zenith Festival Project 4.0 under the aegis of Prism Ark, PTCSU in collaboration with ADC Office Pfutsero took place today with MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero as the guest of honour.

This event was sponsored by North Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong.

Gracing the event held at Pfutsero Sports Complex, Dr. Mero said that Nagaland has lots of festivals for different tribes at different seasons.

“We are known as the land of festivals, warriors and traditions,” he said.

He expressed his joy in the cosmos festival and also compared human life and flowers having similarities.

“Both undergo different stages. Flowers too fade after its full bloom and also we humans after going through various stages finally go to old age,” he said.

Stating that Pfutsero town is place of greenery at all seasons which is a blessing, Dr.Mero said “We should all learn to preserve and protect our rich flora and fauna.”

We should love our town and make Pfutsero a better place with a better environment, he added

He said that the 60 elected representatives of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly under the leadership of Chief Minister Nephiu Rio have been trying and giving their best in resolving many issues and problems in the state.

“We should all bring forth and share our good and noble ideas and solve it together,” he said.

Foster more unity, peace

Pfutsero ADC Mhalo Humtsoe in his address as the special guest, described Pfutsero as the breathtaking town of Nagaland.

This cosmos festival represents a moment where the natural world around us is in full bloom, he said adding “This is also a renewal of peace and unity in diversity.”

We should respect our environment and cherish our surroundings and also keep alive our stories and traditions of our ancestors, he said.

This should be a platform to foster more unity and more peace between villages, colonies and the people, Humtsoe added.

The festival was marked by exhibition stalls and musical concert with Kenei Ritse as special appearance and hosted by Rovi Metha.
