COVID-19: Nagaland logs new 102 cases, 117 recoveries

Dimapur, August 10 (MExN): With 102 out of 2,149 samples testing positive for COVID-19, Nagaland’s COVID-19 positivity rate was at 4.75% on August 10.

According to an update from the State Health and Family Welfare department, the new cases were reported from 9 districts, with 27 in Dimapur, 40 in Kohima, 4 in Longleng, 15 in Mokokchung, 1 each in Peren and Phek, 6 in Tuensang, 5 in Wokha and 3 in Zunheboto.

With this, the State’s total caseload increased to 28,811.

Meanwhile, 117 recoveries were also reported on Tuesday, taking the recovery tally to 26,023.

There were no deaths reported in the past 24 hours, and the fatality count remained at 571.

There are 1,374 active COVID-19 cases in the State at present, out of which, 80 are admitted in COVID hospitals and 1,197 are under home isolation.
