Nagaland reported 94 new cases on August 5, taking the total COVID-19 tally in the State to 2499.
"94 new +ve cases have been confirmed out of 455 samples tested. 89 from Dimapur & 5 from Kohima," Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom updated on Twitter.
"Necessary contact tracing have been activated and all primary contacts are under self isolation," he added.
With this the COVID-19 tally in Nagaland as of August 5, 2:30 PM stood at: Total - 2499; Active: 1832; and Recovered-559.
There officially four deaths so far due to the virus, while two are under investigation and two cases have migrated.
