
Kohima, October 13 (PTI): Single-day recoveries in Nagaland on Wednesday outnumbered fresh COVID-19 infections as 23 more people recuperated from the disease and 15 fresh infections were recorded, a health bulletin said. The new cases pushed the virus tally to 31,507. As many as 29,580 patients have recovered from the infection thus far, it said. Nagaland now has 238 active cases, while 1,016 coronavirus patients have migrated to other states. With no COVID-19 fatality reported during the day, the death toll in the state is 673. As many as 384,073 samples have been tested for COVID-19 thus far in Nagaland. Over 6.99 lakh people have been inoculated till Tuesday, of whom 4.24 lakh people have been fully vaccinated.
