Kohima, September 13 (MExN): The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) registered its strong disapproval on the illegal constructions taking place on 2-lane road project at Lanye Bridge and from Akash Bridge to Akhwego.
Resolving this among the many other issues during its executive council meeting on September 11 at Chida Resort hosted by Khezhakeno village, the CPO stated “All such illegal construction is to be removed as per the administrative order.” CPO assured to extend full co-operation and support the executing authorities, the organization stated in an update from its President, Mikha Kenye and General Secretary, Veduvo Rhakho.
However, it also cautioned the administration and other implementing agencies in dealing with those constructions, “because such mega project cannot be afford to give up at any cost. A deep concern also view that construction of 2-lane in the town areas must give priority for the interest and welfare of the people for the smooth flow of running business and other activities before the onset of winter session.”
