The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) officials had a sitting with Phek deputy commissioner recently at his office chamber and discussed certain issues relating to the district.

According to CPO, the issues discussed pertained to the offices being run without the administrator like SDO (C) Chizami, EAC Phor, EAC Khezhakeno, and EAC Razeba. In this regard, the CPO asked the concerned authority to post the above stated officials at the earliest as the people are suffering and the offices have been functioning without the heads in this sector.

The CPO officials also stressed the importance of a good special summary electoral revision that is going on and encouraged the administration to do its best to reach the most remote locations. Meanwhile, the organization stated that it will assist the administration if it is needed in this process.

The meeting also seriously deliberated the issue on illegal immigrants and the CPO asked the authority concerned to keep vigil on them.

The CPO officials also lauded the DC, who as the administrator, has already sounded alert on the issue.

Further, it appreciated the DC and NST Station Superintendent Phek, Aviko Meyase for reintroducing the chopper service in Phek and asked the public to avail the service.

The CPO also asked department heads not attending their works regularly to be more attentive and at the same time thanked the district administration for initiating and checking the departments.
