The multipurpose building of the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) at Zion Colony, Phek town was inaugurated on December 21. It was inaugurated by Nagaland Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister, KG Kenye in the presence of Nagaland CAWD & Taxes Advisor, Kiidecho Khamo, NPF Legislature Party Leader Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA Dr Neisatuo Mero and former minister Neiba Kronu.

CPO building committee convenor  Kekhwengulo Lea informed that the ground floor of the building has six commercial rooms, first floor with 3 office  rooms, 5 rooms for lodging with bath room attached and conference  hall.

This CPO multi building, spread over 105 ft length and 44ft breadth, was jointly funded by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and Chakhesang villages.

The planning department assisted the project as the state implementing agency.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by CPO President, Veziihii Keyho while Rev Dr Thiipuciiyi Khesoh, pastor Phek Town Baptist Church and Kevichosa Koza, pastor CRC, Phek town pronounced opening and closing prayer respectively.

Phek Deputy Commissioner Kuko Mero, Pochury Hoho President Chonpa Jurry and several other dignitaries also present at the inaugural function.
