Participants during the 72nd annual general meeting of Council of Rengma Baptist Churches held at Kithagha Union Baptist Church.

Kohima, January 31 (MExN): The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) held its 72nd annual general meeting at Kithagha Union Baptist Church (KUBC), Kithagha village under Tseminyu district from January 27 to 29.
The council reaffirmed its commitment to the Clean Election Movement, and appealed to its members to uphold and honour their pledge, and that CRBC will not endorse any candidate(s) or participate in any events and functions contradicting to Biblical teachings.
In its resolution, the council affirmed the all-sufficiency of the word of God, the Bible, and firmly holds it as the sole and final authority in all matters of faith and morals of the church pertaining to contemporary issues confronting the society.
The council acknowledged that God has given the present generation in the hands of His church, that they are accountable and be committed to teach, guide, and foster them in the ways of God which will also safeguard the faith of the next generation.
A total of 236 delegates from 42 churches and one fellowship under CRBC participated in the annual general meeting.
