Create peaceful, conducive environment: ENSF

Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland Students Federation (ENSF) and its six federating units held an emergency consultative meeting at Tuensang on February 16 at its office conference hall.  

During the meeting, the house seriously observed that the students appearing the ongoing HSLC/HSSLC examinations are “mentally disturbed” due to the current state of affairs. Therefore, ENSF appealed all section of society to create a peaceful and conducive environment for the students without further bandhs and agitations particularly in eastern areas.  

ENSF, Vice President, Z. Throngshe Yimchunger and General Secretary, Honang M Jessuhu also stated in a press note that it appeals the State government to restore data internet services at the earliest in the interest of students’ community. It is constrain to note that most of the students depend on internet facilities especially for filing up the forms for various examinations and collection of study materials.    

Third consultative meet on Feb 21

Meanwhile, ENSF has also convened third consultative meet of the Eastern frontal organisations on February 21, 2017. Therefore, the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union (ENLU), Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation (ENPO), Eastern Nagaland Gazetted Officers Association (ENGOA), Eastern Nagaland Women’s Organisation (ENWO) ENPO tribal organisations and ENSF federating units are informed to prepare to be a part without fail. The time and venue will be intimidated shortly.
