Kiphire, November 6 (MExN): The 11th Common Review Mission (CRM) comprising of eight members under the leadership of Captain Kapil Chaudhary (Team leader), Director, NHM, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI has flagged off to review the National Health Mission (NHM) programme on November 6 in Kiphire district.
In his address to the team, Sedevikho Khro, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire appreciated their efforts for taking the trouble to reach one of “the most backward districts,” he also stated that they will get a clearer picture in the process of their findings in the grassroot level. He also expressed his hope that the team would forever cherish their experiences they get from the district.
The District briefing meeting was chaired by Dr. Khelito Zhimomi, DTO and the welcoming address was delivered by Dr. C Tsenthungo Patton,CMO. District profile presentation was given by Dr. Tinurenla, Deputy CMO,Kiphire followed by reviewing of District Hospital and Chief Medical Officer Office.
The CRM team members were Padam Khanna, Sudipta Basa, Dr. Antony, Dr. Vivek Mishra, Nilesh Gawde, Dr. Anil, Dr. Amol A. Patil, Shivam Jain, Finance accompanied by 11 state officials headed by Dr. Vizolie Suokhrie, Additional Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare. It may be noted that the review will continue till November 10, 2017.
