Kohima, May 11 (MExN): The 78 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a special community event at its headquarters in Sechu-Zubza on May 10 to recognize students who excelled in the NBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations. The event, attended by students, parents, media, and local dignitaries, reflected the battalion’s ongoing efforts to engage meaningfully with the community beyond security duties.

Commandant Devnath Somkunwar, who addressed the gathering as chief guest, emphasized the broader values of dedication, consistency, and support systems in shaping student success. “Hard work and values are key to any achievement. Our youth are not only future leaders but also carriers of the nation’s progress,” he said while acknowledging the essential roles of teachers and parents.

Students recognized during the ceremony included Lokemi Achumi, Keluosenuo Suokhrie, Mereninla Pongen, Alemtula Longchar, Vikhono Senotsu, and Angel Raikhan. Each received a token of appreciation from the CRPF, with the ceremony aiming to encourage both academic and civic aspirations.
