CSOs update on ‘total shutter down’ in Dmr

Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): All the medical dealers, pharmacies, educational institutions, government and private offices are exempted from the “Total Shutter Down” called by the Dimapur-based civil societies and organisations on September 30. 

It also excludes the movement of pedestrians and vehicles, informed the organisers in a press release. 

The 6 am to 6 pm shutter down is being called by all the Dimapur based Civil Societies and Organisations  to “show our resentment against the recent Govt. order for Shifting of branches/cells to new Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex Chümoukedima”,  it said. 

The Civil Societies of Dimapur also expressed their appreciation to all the concerned Dimapur based CSOs’, tribal and non tribal communities for coming together for submitting the ultimatum to the Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland through Deputy Commissioner Dimapur on September 29.

It further lauded the police personnel, traffic officials and administration for “their support and assistance provided by them during the submission of the ultimatum.”

“We further believe that this support shown by all the right thinking Dimapurians will continue for this cause for Dimapur,” it stated.
