Kohima, May 29 (MExN): The Chakhesang Student's Union (CSU) in collaboration with the Chakhesang Gazetted Officer's Association (CGOA) had successfully organized a Career Guidance programme under the theme " Discovering the diverse opportunities" on May 27 last. It was conducted simultaneously at Chozuba, Phek and Pfutsero on the same day. The resources persons included; Rhotsomu Angelo Pfithu, GHSS Chozuba, Dode Nakro, Managing Director VEN and Proprietor Lüshe Enterprise, Er. Omegali, NCS, EAC Chetheba, Dr. Zhokusheyi Rhakho, Assoc. Professor PGC Phek, Jenpu Rhakho Rongmei, Founder and Chief Functionary, CAN Youth and Buna Enterprise, Wetsho Lasushe, NCS, EAC Phek, Dr. Zavise Rume, Professor SCERT Nagaland, Gugu Haralu, Social worker and Peace Educator and  Dr. Riku Khutso, NCS, EAC Pfutsero.

The resource persons had a healthy discourse with the students on various career opportunities in Academics, Entrepreneurship/Skill development. Altogether, 1,500 students turned up for the program. After thorough deliberations, the students were divided into groups according to their choice of career and students had the opportunity to discuss with the Resource Persons on various career prospects.  CSU president Avezo Kevin Kapu and general secretary Pei Kezo  said that this career guidance programme aims to motivate, encourage, advise and enlighten the students on diverse career opportunities that can be pursued.
