Chang Students Union Saksi, sports meet cum cultural event underway from January 3 to 9.
Tuensang, January 3 (MExN): The Chang Students Union (CSU) Saksi, sports meet cum cultural event scheduled from January 3 to 9 commenced with an inagural programme where Rev Chongshen, Pastor Chang Baptist Lashong, Saksi addressed the gatherimng.
Rev Chongshen encouraged the studebts to focus on the teamspirit and sportsmenship and added that sports and games should be an integral part of ones personal growth and progress.
Sangli Khamba, President, Chang students Union spoke on identity through sports. Sports among the young invdividuals helps in brings out ones talents. Such events brings about the welfare in society through ones own contributions, he stated.
Earlier the programme was chaired by Y Tochi while Siponglemla graced the programme with the invocation. The events includes differnts games and sports from Janurary 3 to 5, cultural day on Janurary 7 and literary day on Janurary 8 and 9.
