The curtain raiser of Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse Nagaland Football Tournament 2019 will take place on October 24 at 3:30 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 29 at 10:30 AM at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
This fifth edition is being organized by Assam Rifles, IGAR (North) in memory Capt Kenguruse, Mahavir Chakra (posthumous) from October 29 to November 8 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Kenguruse was sacrificed his life for the nation during the Kargil War and the tournament is being organised annually by the Assam Rifles ‘to ensure that the name of this brave son of the soil lives on forever in the memory of the younger generation.’
