Changtongya, October 22 (MExN): The Changtongya Volleyball Association (CVA) has announced that the 2nd Imonungba Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy will be held from November 13 to 15, 2024, in Changtongya Town.
The winner of the championship will receive a cash prize of Rs 90,000 along with a running trophy and a citation. The 1st Runner-up will receive Rs 50,000, while the losing semi-finalist teams will each be awarded Rs 15,000.
In addition to team awards, individual prizes of Rs 5,000 each will be given for Best Spiker, Best Setter, Best Libero, and Player of the Tournament. Matches will be held at the Public Ground, Changtongya Town.
In this connection, the Association has extended an invitation to Nagaland-based teams and clubs to participate in the open tournament.
Teams and clubs interested in participating must register with a fee of Rs 5,000 on or before November 9, 2024 and entry forms are available at Classmate, Changtongya Town, and Balaka Yokya, Mokokchung, the CVA informed.
