64 prominent Chakhesang, Angami wrestlers confirm participations
Pfutsero, February 7 (MExN): Preparation is under full progress for the 1st Chakhesang Open Wrestling 2019 kicking off at Pfutsero Sports Complex, Pfutsero on February 8.
The inaugural program will be graced by Minister for Planning & Coordination and Land Revenue, Neiba Kronu as the Special Guest at 9 AM, which will be followed by the competitions.
The event is being organized by the Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) with an intention of promoting the indigenous traditional games with better focus of the event, informed a press release from the organiser.
The Chakhesang Mission Centre Church (CMCC) Pfutsero will manage the event.
CWA also informed that the rates of the tickets are also priced under the four categories: Chairs for Rs. 500/ 300/200 and gallery for Rs. 100.
Wrestler profiles will also made available at the rate of Rs. 50 per copy, it said.
As per the sources of the management (CMCC) Pfutsero, all eatable items viz; Mithun beef meat with intestines, Moudi, local pork meat with intestines and all other forms of lunch will be made available, it added, urging the spectators to avail the same inside the ground.
NWA rules and regulations shall govern the entire proceedings of the wrestling competition and a sum of Rs. 300 shall be realised from each participant as an entry fee.
