Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): The Chesezu Welfare Association Kohima held its Annual Session under the theme, “Together we stand" with chairman, enterpreneur development awgency, Kudecho Khamo as the chief guest on Saturday at Naga Heritage, Kisama .
Speaking as the chief guest, Khamo spoke on the importance of the theme, “together we stand”. While also stressing on the need for development through hard work, honest and sincerity, which he said is an inherent identity of the people. He further challenged the gathering to set a good exemplary life while living here in State capital.
On the occasion, DEO, Kohima, Zaveyi Nyekha and former MLA Nuzota Swuro gave a short speech, in which both stressed the need for unity. Meanwhile, the inaugural prayer was pronounced by Rev Zhowhuyi Nyekha, presidential address was delivered by Zacuyi Nienu, folk tune were presented by Chesezu Cultural Club.
Earlier, awards were given to its successful members in different professions and academic examination.
