Kohima, November 14 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) 14th Biennial General Conference will be held under the theme “Rising above challenges” at Pholami village December 12 Nagaland Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister KG Kenye will grace the conference as the special guest. Greetings will be shared by Vezühü Keyho, president, Chakhesang Public Organization and Kesosul Christopher Ltu, president, Angami Youth Organisation. CYF President Vezhodüyi Nakro will deliver presidential address.
The Conference will also witness releases of amended constitution and installation of new CYF executive council for the tenure 2024-26. ‘Best Performing Biodiversity Award’ in village category and the ‘Best Piggery Farmer Award’ in individual category will be conferred to deserving members during the Conference. All CYF affiliated/subordinate Units must be represented by a minimum of five delegates at the Conference, according to CYF. Meanwhile, CYF asked all the concerned to come together to strengthen “our unity, fraternity and solidarity, and ‘Rise above challenges’ for the welfare of our community and nation.”
