Jalukie, April 28 (MExN): Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr Neikiesalie Nicky Kire inaugurated the daily marketing sheds constructed under the 14th Finance Commission (ULB) at Jalukie town on April 28.
Dr Nicky Kire in his address expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated daily marketing sheds would go a long way in helping the farmers and local vendors in generating their income, stated a DIPR report.
Advisor, Water Resources, Namri Nchang in his short speech said Jalukie Town has the potential for further growth and development. He encouraged the public leaders to plan for a better tomorrow for the benefit of the citizens in the district.
NPF Legislature Party Leader & UDA Chairman, TR Zeliang enlightened the gathering on 33% reservation for women and other policies and schemes of the government. NZPO President, Kevipelie Iheilung and Additional Director & HoD, Directorate of Municipal Affairs, A Chenithung Lotha also spoke on the occasion.
The inaugural programme was marked by a dedicatory prayer by Rev Dr Mongzeung Mpom, Pastor, JTLBC while the programme was chaired by ADC & Administrator Jalukie Town Council, Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS.
