Daklane colony no longer containment zone

Kohima, July 22 (MExN): After completion of contact tracing and testing among all primary and secondary contacts of the COVID-19 positive case from Daklane Colony, Kohima, the colony has been reopened on July 22. According to updates from the DIPR, a medical team conducted the contact tracing and testing of 127 contacts out of which 5 were high risk contacts and 122 were low risk contacts. All contacts were tested for COVID-19 and their results returned negative, it said. Subsequently, the Kohima Deputy Commissioner notified that the containment zone is being lifted and all normal activities can now resume in Daklane Colony (Municipal Ward No. 7) which was sealed on July 7, the report stated. However, all standard operating procedures issued by the government will remain in place, it said.
