Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) is holding a thanksgiving service on March 12, Saturday in commemoration of the alliance’s completion of the third year of second term in office. There will be a thanksgiving service in the State Banquet Hall at 4 PM, the State informed today. “The DAN takes this opportunity to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to all sections of the people for extending their support in all forms for the DAN coalition and its leadership ion the past eight years,” stated a note from R Tohanba, Parliamentary Secretary. “The DAN also reiterates its commitment to continuously strive for the achievement of lasting peace, overall progress and rapid economic growth in the state.” The alliance invites all constituents, including legislators, party leaders, well-wishers and representatives of civil society to attend the service. A dinner will follow the service.
