
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 5 (MExN): The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) has informed that a total of 517 sessions were conducted in Nagaland on the second day of Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign with a coverage of 45,954 children bringing the total to 83,025 children vaccinated till the time of compilation of reports.
It further has expressed gratitude to all the concerned parents who have come forward to vaccinate their children with MR vaccine and also the Administration, School Education Department and Social Welfare Department for their constant support and co-operation.
The department will be continuing MRVC till the first week of November and any child who has missed vaccination at school sessions will be covered during outreach sessions and mop-up sessions, a press note issued by the DoHFW informed.
