
Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima has released the list of NGOs and Clubs designated to visit selected homes and institutions on January 26 within the district on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day of India.
As per the list, the Gorkha Public Panchayat will visit the State Mental Health Institute, while the Tabitha Enabling Academy will host the Puliebaze Club. The Indian Red Cross and the Masjid Committee will respectively visit the Old Age Home and the Kohima Orphanage & Destitute Home. The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union has been allotted the District Jail.
The Bright Morning Star Orphanage in Periezie will be visited by the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while the Angami Women's Organisation will visit the Cherry Blossom. Rotary Club and Classic Club, meanwhile, have respectively been allotted the Jo Foundation and the Cradle Ridge.
The designated NGOs and Clubs are required to submit an Action Taken Report detailing their visitation activities, and Commendation certificates will be awarded based on these reports, stated a DIPR report.
