The inspection team at the Dikhu Bailey Bridge situated at 12 Km, NH 202 Mokokchung-Tuensang road.
Mokokchung, September 2 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh inspected the Dikhu Bailey Bridge situated at 12 Km, NH 202 Mokokchung-Tuensang road on August 31.
A DIPR report stated that officials in the team included Commandant, 23 Assam Rifles, Viplove, SP, Mokokchung, ADC, Longkhim, Phulebhe K Yepthomi and NH 202 Mokokchung-Tuensang, Er L Akum and council members from Longsa village.
After inspection, the team, due to poor condition of the bridge, decided to allow only Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and passenger carrying vehicles to ply through the bridge, and all the goods carrying (loaded) vehicles are to be diverted through Longmisa village, Mokokchung to Thronger village, Tuensang, till further arrangement is made.
