Mokokchung, October 13 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung on October 13 directed to all the concerned land owners, public or government agencies/organisations and others to immediately remove building materials, wood logs, off road vehicles and other moveable properties parked/kept along the National Highway-2 from Sewak Gate to DEF.
In an order, DC Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir informed that road construction work will commence along the National Highway-2 stretching from Km 1,17.000 (Sewak Gate) to 156.000 Km (DEF) and the directive was issued to ensure smooth progress of the work.
“Failure to comply to this order, the material properties will be liable to be seized and legal proceedings initiated against the defaulting owner/person/etc,” the DC added.
