MOKOKCHUNG, January 8 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung has granted permission to JKM Infra Works LLP, Guwahati, Assam, to carry out blasting of stone for the widening of the road at the construction site of the two-lane along National Highway-61.
The operational work will take place at the Angetyong Tzu river area between the DEF Police Church and Yisemyong on January 9 from 3 PM to 10 PM.
As per the State DIPR, DC Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, granted the permission under strict conditions, ensuring that the contractor shall ensure the safety and security of the life and property of the public using the road. Furthermore, the contractor was directed to follow the relevant rules of the Explosives Act/Rule, 2008, and will be responsible for any damage to life or property.
