DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 29 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Mon has withdrawn the ‘Travel Advisory’ issued by the office on September 26 in view of the tense situation at Sonari, Charaideo district in Assam as a result of the unfortunate September 23 vehicle accident at Angjangyang sub-division, Mon.
According to a DIPR report, the travel advisory has been withdrawn taking into consideration the reports received and assessment done by the district administration, police and civil societies Mon in co-ordination with their counterparts at Sonar, Charaideo, Assam.
It stated that the situation is returning to normalcy and vehicular movement along the said route (via Sonar) can be resumed with immediate effect.
