DC Peren launches Project ‘Enriching Every Child’

Peren, September 7 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS formally launched the Project ‘Enriching Every Child’ initiated by CHILDLINE 1098 Peren at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren on September 7.

Speaking at the launching programme, a DIPR report stated that the DC Peren, Vineet Kumar expressed hope that the project will help in changing the lives of many marginalized children and will also improve accessibility and ensure quality education for underprivileged children. 

Further, DC Peren appealed to the team to maintain transparency while maintaining the donations received from various groups or individuals.

Centre Coordinator, Ibamsile Dwaswang while giving a brief highlight of the project said the overall aim of the project is to support the children belonging to the marginalized section under the Jalukie and Ahthibung blocks and also to build connections within communities and lift others through the simple act of kindness in the form of charitable donations in cash or kind for the children. She also highlighted the numerous intervention cases which were provided against various abuse.

In the programme, a welcome note and journey of CHILDLINE Peren were shared by CHILDLINE Peren Director, Akeina Gonmei, while a short speech was delivered by President ZSUN, Aakam Pame, and exhortation was done by Executive Secretary, RBCAN, Mathiuthai Gonmei.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Hugiak Gonmei.
