Tuensang, April 18 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant has issued the following advisories to ensure the safety of staff /personnel and clients in quarantine facilities under Tuensang district:


•    All staff /personnel are to be trained on safe practices and infection prevention & control, including hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, Personal hygiene, disinfection of work place, safe disposal of waste etc as per extant of SoPs. 

•    Institute measure to promote minimal contact between care giver and clients and advocate strict social distancing. 

•    All clients in the quarantine facilities to wear triple layered mask at all time. 

•    All personnel of the quarantine facilities are to wear appropriate PPEs depending on nature of job as per extant SoPs. 

•    Emergency medical facilities should be arranged and contact number of medical team to be displayed in the quarantine facilities prominently.

•    Security for perimeter control and to restrict unauthorised movement of people and vehicle. 

•    It is obligatory on the part of all clients to cooperate with the authority and to disclose factual information on travel history, contact history or development of any signs and symptoms to the health personnel.


Directions to facilitate resumption of offices 

Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued the following directions to facilitate resumption of offices under Tuensang District jurisdiction:


•    The following departments listed below which have activities of essential and urgent nature will identify the minimum staff and officers for ensuring that the department continues to function and provide essential services: Medical, Planning, Treasury, Power, Agriculture and allied departments, DPRO, Veterinary, PHED, Social Welfare, Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence, NIC, Food and Civil Supplies. 

•    All the above mentioned departments will work out and submit government registered vehicle numbers and the name of officers and staff along with 2 passport photos each with to SDO (Civil) Tuensang, Shelley Katiry NCS for issues of passes. 

•    All other departments not mentioned above are to nominate one nodal of officer rank and two more staff who will co - ordinate and ensure functioning of their offices so that all the essential and urgent matters pertaining to the department is look a fter in time. Such departments are to give details of the officers and staff along with 2 passport photos each as mentioned above. Also all HODs are to be available on telephone and electronic means of communication at all times. 

•    It may be noted that only number of government registered vehicles should be given and the HODs are to make arrangements for transportation of their officers and staff in the designated vehicles of their departments.
